I got a new camera yesterday, a digital Canon SLR so while I realize that most of you don't care about seeing pictures of my dogs running around in the snow, I just got a new camera and I don't have any kids so I have to take pictures of my dogs. And clearly I must then post them on my blog because, well, what else would I do with them?
I apologize in advance for being one of those people who posts boring pictures of their pets and calls it an interesting blog. I am sorry. But not that sorry.
So, if you're really not interested in seeing how first Spider bit Ralph's head and then Ralph bit Spider's head then, please, look no further because, in case you didn't know, that's what dogs do - they bite each other's faces off and call it friendship.
To start things off, Ralph ran by Spider, who hasn't ever actually run anywhere in his entire life, and knocked his head completely off.
Then Ralph showed Spider all of his teeth.
Spider, not one to be outdone (unless running is involved), returned the favor.
Then Spider tried to see how much of Ralph's head would fit into his mouth.
So Ralph demonstrated that he could fit all of Spider's head into his mouth.
Spider admitted temporary defeat as Ralph jumped for joy, with his teeth showing, obviously.

They are playing like kids...well, kids don't bite each other, much anyway. You know what I mean! I got a Canon Rebel XTi for Christmas and I love it. And believe me I take pictures of EVERYTHING!

I love, love, LOVE my (husband's) Canon digital SLR. I'm charging the battery now, so I can take some photos while I'm out tonight...probably not of anyone stuffing anyone else's head in their mouth, though.
Isn't it just gorgeous--I took my photos at 9 last night. Yesterday, I drove down Rock and by Terminal while it was still raining and had to laugh at all the water. Then they showed both closed on the news that night. Try the enclosed skyway on the second floor at the airport if you like to stay dry. Your pups look just like Kharma and her BFF playing!

My wife and I are planning on getting a dog very soon. With a kid and two cats we feel that it's time... ;)

Hey, I've got a kid and I still take pictures of my cats and post them. Truth be told I think there are very few people who don't like interesting pet pictures, and they just happen to be loud. The rest of us? Well we love pet pics!
And I am so completely jealous of your new camera. That will be my next big purchase in five hundred thousand years.

I love dogs and thus I love pictures of dogs, especially when they're playing in the snow, all happy and jumpy just like dogs are supposed to be living their life.
So, no worries - pictures of dogs will actually have me coming back!
And SLRs transform one's life, don't they? I love my Canon, too.
I am jealous... I've been eyeing several SLR's for a while now and I just can't decide which one to buy. I make a decision and then I think, "wait, if I spend just x amount more I can get that one!" and so I wait and in the meantime I spend the money that I saved for that camera on something else.
Also a fan of dooce and chirky... and I love pictures of dogs because that is something else I have been wanting to get but haven't made the commitment yet.
Drat! that would have soooo much better in the mud... C:)

I love, love, love the photos of the pups playing in the snow! Our Bulldog hasn't had a moment of fun in the snow in her entire life. Our Lhasa, on the other hand, is a one-woman snow plowing machine capable of turning into a snowball in mere seconds.
