Once we went to dinner at the Claim Jumper with our friend, Pat. If there is a Claim Jumper near your house, you should go because that place is awesome. If you know our friend, Pat, you should invite him because he's funny.
Pat ordered some kind of burger for dinner but when the waitress delivered it, Pat discovered that it wasn't exactly what he had ordered. Something along the lines of the burger came with mayonnaise so Pat asked for no mayonnaise because he doesn't like mayonnaise but when the burger arrived, it was slathered with mayonnaise. Something like that.
So Pat politely informed the waitress of the mistake and she fixed it.
Towards the end of the meal, the manager came over to apologize for the mistake and offered Pat a free dessert to make up for it.
Pat looked straight at her and explained, "I don't eat dessert. I drink beer."
And that pretty much explains why we're friends with Pat.

Sadly, the manager had to explain that they could not offer free beer, only free dessert. We were all very sad.
