I Can See The Moonlight Bouncing Off Her Head

This is what our yard looks like right now.

Only this picture doesn't show all of the trenches nor does it show all the rocks. There are loads more of both. I have seen Ralph and Spider out there, walking the trenches, like we're preparing the front lines for war.

Tomorrow the landscaper comes and will begin to remove the rocks and install the sprinkler system. Then we will have a sprinkler system. No grass, just a sprinkler system. There is no more money for grass this year. So we will turn on our sprinklers and run in the mud!

On a happier note, here is a picture of the moon in the canyon above our house:

There is always grass seed...it's cheap!

I can just see your dogs walking the trenches...little doggie cigarettes dangling...looking at pictures of hot bitches in PlayDog...

You may be happy if you go with grass seed. Those newly acquired tumbleweeds might like company.

Eh, who needs grass when you've got millions of tumbleweeds?!

Beautiful photo.

Sorry about the grass.*

*Not the first time I've said this sentence, interestingly enough.

If you lived closer, I would totally grow some grass seed in a little container for you so that you would have something to water this summer. Maybe you should toss some seed out there just for fun.

well mud can be fun, people pay hundreds of dollars for mud baths...you get yours for free,so really you are saving money.

Oh!! I would so go down to the toy store and pick up a couple bags of army men and reenact The Battle of The Marne or something.

I hate running out of money. But don't make the mistake that I did. Out of desperation to grow a huge garden in one year I drove the roadside digging up pretty flowers. Turns out there's a reason they're growing along the roadside. THEY'RE WEEDS and they took over everything. I can't get rid of them. Dirt isn't as bad as it could be.

You can't do all that hard work for nothing, get you some grass put in

I predict, the grass will come. You can't avoid grass and/or weeds, if your sprinklers are working. I second the motion of buying some seed, far cheaper than sod.

Look ma, more tumbleweed. Where does that stuff come from???

The moon picture makes it ALL worth it. Or, should I say, it works for me.
