Do you know what that is? It's grass! Real, green grass! And it's growing in my yard. Can you feel the excitement? And that's not just one or two blades of grass. That almost qualifies at a patch. I almost have a patch of grass. This is big time.
Also, I ate some more tomatoes and I'm still not dead. Nevada tomatoes are safe because the Tomato Whisperer is protecting them. Sorry for the rest of you.

Wow, look at that grass. In no time you will have a whole slew of little blades of grass. Yippee!
Hmm, I think I may go and throw out our tomatoes.
I looked for a baby in the image and went into a trance-like state.Saw lots of faces in the image, but no baby.
It's beautiful. How awesome!
witchypoo ~ I couldn't think of a Friends quote that even remotely had to do with this post so this is just a random quote from the one where Chandler is freaked out by certain kinds of toilet paper.
Congratulations on the progress of your patch!! In no time you will be writing about having to mow it!
That is quite a thing to see ALF. I know people that have struggled to get grass to grow on their lawn and get nothing.
time for Doug to get the mower ready and the beer cold for the beer holder on the mower...
Holy grass, Batman! That's awesome!
Wow! You are gonna have a beautiful green lawn in no time!
I ate snickerdoodle cookies for breakfast.
This is so exciting. Congratulations on the grass.
Hmmm... would you say that you were "high on grass"? Hmmm? Would you? say that you were "high on grass"?
C:)
I'm with Craig, 'cause I can't leave the pot metaphors alone.
Yeah for grass! We'll see how excited you are when you're mowing it every 3 days.
karen ~ don't be silly! I won't be mowing it. That job belongs to Doug and is the reason we have the riding mower.
